It has been announced that RADWIMPS will appear on the 76th NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen (the New Year's Eve song contest), which will be broadcast on NHK General TV and other channels on December 31. This will be their third appearance, their first since the 70th edition in 2019.

This year, RADWIMPS provided the theme song for the NHK serial TV novel "Anpan," which aired from March to September, and celebrated their 20th major label debut anniversary in November. On the Kōhaku stage, they will perform a special medley to commemorate their 20th anniversary. Regarding their appearance, RADWIMPS commented, "We will perform with our hearts full of gratitude and love for our beloved 'Anpan.' As a band, we are also happy to be able to appear on this milestone of our 20th major label debut anniversary. Thank you."
