Gen Hoshino self-directs, shoots, and produces MV for 'Suki,' embarking on a purely fun trip for three with Takashi Fujii and Zun's Kazuki Iio
The music video for Gen Hoshino's latest single, "Suki," will premiere on YouTube at 9 p.m. on Aug. 13.
"Suki" is a newly written song serving as the theme song for the TBS Tuesday drama "Kimi no Suki wa Muteki." Hoshino himself directed, shot, and produced the MV. While Hoshino has produced all of his past MVs himself and has released works where he handled directing and editing, this is his first time taking on all three roles for a single project. The MV unfolds as a three-person trip with Hoshino and his "beloved" long-time friends, Takashi Fujii and Kazuki Iio (Zun). The world of the song is expressed through these "purely fun moments."
Ahead of the MV's premiere, a teaser video was released on YouTube. This video allows viewers to enjoy behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot that is not used in the main MV. Additional teaser videos are scheduled to be released sequentially in the future.
