JISOO, a member of the seven-member girl group HANA, will make her solo debut under the name "LEE JISOO." Her debut single "MISMATCH" will be released digitally on September 8, her birthday.

The debut single includes two songs: "MISMATCH" and "Movie Star." The lyrics were written in Korean and English, centered around Korean, which is LEE JISOO's roots. LEE JISOO herself was involved in the production of both songs. For the title track "MISMATCH," she participated in the songwriting and composition to express her life so far and her determination for the future. Meanwhile, "Movie Star" was produced by Chanmina, who is also the producer of HANA, bringing out LEE JISOO's charms.

Ahead of the release, the artist photo and cover art were also unveiled. In the artist photo, LEE JISOO gazes directly at the camera with an electric guitar amidst a faint, glowing pale blue light. The cover art features a bold close-up of her face, with a metallic bandage across the bridge of LEE JISOO's nose.

Regarding her solo debut, LEE JISOO said, "'MISMATCH' depicts the desire to love my imperfect self, and 'Movie Star' is a love letter to the person I admire who always allows me to be myself. I would be happy if these two songs, which are my story and also our story, can give everyone strength. I look forward to your continued support!"

LEE JISOO Comment

With the help of many people, I will be making my debut as solo artist LEE JISOO on September 8. Because this is a single I am delivering under my own name on the special occasion of my birthday, I have honestly packed it with my true self and the things I love.

"MISMATCH" depicts the desire to love my imperfect self, and "Movie Star" is a love letter to the person I admire who always allows me to be myself. I would be happy if these two songs, which are my story and also our story, can give everyone strength. I look forward to your continued support!
