Eight producers including Shuta Hasunuma, mabanua, and Yaffle participate in imase's first new release in a year, "Hatena"
The full tracklist and producer credits for each song on imase's new EP "Hatena," set for digital release on October 2, have been announced.
imase had been on hiatus for about a year since August 4 of last year to undergo long-term medical treatment for poor health. His comeback work, "Hatena," is an introspective and deeply human release that details the raw emotions and thoughts he says were born from stopping to reflect during his hiatus.
Participating in this release is a lineup of producers including Jun Matsumoto, who serves as the bandmaster for imase's live performances; HANO+7MD, who handled sound production for his major debut; as well as Shingo Kubota (Jazzin' park), Shin Sakiura, Shuta Hasunuma, mabanua (Ovall), and Yaffle. The EP features a total of eight songs, including his latest track "Kaze ni Nareru Hazu," which was released digitally in advance on September 4, and "Aoba," the theme song for the animated film "Hanarokusho ga Akeru Hi ni."
Additionally, a preview video featuring audio snippets of all the tracks on "Hatena" has been released on YouTube.
