Leading Thai rapper MILLI's second full-length album "HEAVYWEIGHT," digitally released on July 11, features ATARASHII GAKKO! and Awich.

This album is said to embody MILLI's growth and determination as an artist, much like a heavyweight boxer. The collaboration with ATARASHII GAKKO!, "ARMSTRONG," is a song themed around two cultural symbols, Thailand's traditional goddess of fortune, Nang Kwak, and Japan's maneki-neko (beckoning cat). It's an energetic track where MILLI and ATARASHII GAKKO! come alive along with a powerful beat.

Additionally, the collaboration track with Awich, "JAA EHH (peekaboo)," is a song where MILLI candidly tells her own story, themed around "MILLI, who appears everywhere," and Awich's cool and aggressive rap adds fire to the track. Furthermore, avantgardey handled the choreography for the music video of the album's opening track, "SICK WITH IT." MILLI herself came to Japan to film the video.

I've packed this album, "HEAVYWEIGHT," with all the emotions and stories I've experienced in my life so far. I believe it has become a true work of art, blending various aspects. I am truly happy that Awich, ATARASHII GAKKO!, and the incredibly talented avantgardey participated in this project.
Like an atomweight boxer, I've gradually gained experience, overcome various trials, and finally feel like I've reached the "heavyweight" level as an artist. This album is a precious piece that contains everything about me.
YUPP! Entertainment has always been there to support what I want to do, and I am sincerely grateful to everyone on the team. And most of all, to my fans in Japan, thank you so much! My first solo concert in Japan was sold out, and I was so happy to be able to stand on stage with SO-SO. It made me happiest of all that everyone had a good time. I hope you will love this album as much as I do.

This is a new work with MILLI, who we worked with last year on our song "Drama"! "armstrong" is our expression of how Thailand's "Nang Kwak" and Japan's "maneki-neko," who both beckon for happiness, build muscle and become STRONG through that motion! Let's get STRONG together!
