3rd installment of international co-writing camp 'SONG BRIDGE' announced, Keiichi Sokabe, PSYCHIC FEVER and more to participate
As part of the co-creation project "MUSIC WAY PROJECT" by the Culture and Entertainment Industry Promotion Association (CEIPA) and TOYOTA GROUP, the music production co-writing camp "CEIPA x TOYOTA GROUP 'MUSIC WAY PROJECT' Global Co-writing Camp -SONG BRIDGE 2026-" will be held from June 9 to 11.
"CEIPA x TOYOTA GROUP 'MUSIC WAY PROJECT' Co-writing Camp -SONG BRIDGE" is one of Japan's largest co-writing camp initiatives, held in Kyoto to coincide with the "MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN" in May of last year. Songs such as "ELUSIVE" by m-flo loves n-choco and "Sayonara - SAYONARA" by Daito Yamamoto were created there. In December of last year, its spin-off project, "CEIPA x TOYOTA GROUP 'MUSIC WAY PROJECT' Co-writing Camp -SONG BRIDGE Adventures- 2025 winter," was held over three days at a studio in Tokyo. Under the theme of "original songs inspired by the 16th-generation TOYOTA Crown," four teams each day took part in a one-day-only composition session, and "OUT" by YU-KA, which was produced there, has been adopted as the theme song for the "TOYOTA Crown (Estate) Style Movie." On the day of the event, an actual Crown vehicle was brought into the studio, and the gathered musicians worked hard on production while receiving inspiration from the real thing.
For this third edition, approximately 40 groups of creators and artists have been invited from Japan and abroad. A total of eight studios in the Shibuya and Aoyama areas of Tokyo will be utilized to hold intensive sessions over three days. The biggest feature of this edition is the invitation of top artists from Southeast Asian countries, where the music market is growing explosively. Participants include the Philippines' Cup of Joe, who are nominated for Best Asian Song at the "MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026" with its award ceremony to be held on June 13; HINDIA, a leading rock artist from Indonesia; SARAN, who drives the Thai hip-hop scene; Singapore's next-generation singer Shye; and globally active American R&B artist UMI. Participants from Japan include Keiichi Sokabe, (sic)boy, PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE, and YU-KA. Furthermore, a lineup of domestic and international creators such as her0ism, Yael Naim, Neil Ormandy, and Taka Perry are also on the roster.
Information about the camp and its participants will be posted regularly on the official social media accounts of "SONG BRIDGE" and TOYOTA GROUP.
